Ed Paltrineri, Special Education

elpaltrineri@seattleschools.org

I am originally from Massachusetts and moved to Seattle in 1991 after a year of climbing around North America. After landing in Seattle I continued my 20 year profession of carpentry until 1997. In 1997 I started my education to become a special education teacher at Western Washington University. After two years of teaching in Seattle as a special education teacher I enrolled in the University of Washington's Masters program for Special Education focusing on students with severe and profound disabilities.

I live in the Ballard neighborhood with my wife and two children and various pets.  We spend a lot of time hiking, camping, mountain biking and skiing when not in the classroom.
