Maria Lloret Tonda, 2nd Grade Spanish Immersion

I am so excited to be a part of this great Spanish Immersion Program at McDonald. Being here at this school means to me that I have fulfilled one of my dreams, which was to teach my native language to young children in a foreign country.

I was born in Villajoyosa, a small village in the south-east of Spain and then I decided to study my Elementary Teacher Bachelor Degree at the University of Barcelona. After that, I started working as a teacher for four years in Barcelona. In the meantime, I also started studying English Studies in the University of Barcelona but I had to postpone it for coming to U.S. My first two languages are Spanish and Catalan.

In my free time I love traveling with my husband around the world, spending time with my family or friends, and I love dancing, reading and doing yoga too.
