PTA Seeking Part-Time Bookkeeper and Financial Review Members

At least three volunteers are needed to serve on a committee to review and audit the PTA’s financial records after the close of the 2017-18 fiscal year (ending June 30th). The state PTA provides a checklist for committee members to us, and does not expect that members have an accounting background.

The financial review is expected to take a total of about 3-4 hours and should be performed in July or August, to be scheduled at the convenience of the committee members. Please contact PTA President Katie Dodsley and President-elect Veronica Garcia.

Additionally, looking ahead to next school year, if you have non-profit bookkeeping experience, the PTA would love your help next year as a part-time bookkeeper. The position is part-time and paid. Contact 18/19 Treasurer-elect Cindy Jed for more details.
